Rights Respecting Schools
At Central Integrated Primary School, we have an ethos that naturally promotes children's rights and we advocate for these regularly.
This year, we are working towards an award to show this. This is called the UNICEF 'Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA)'.
When we achieve the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, we will then receive the status of being a 'Rights Respecting School'.
We will focus on a new children's right every two weeks. We call these our 'Right of the Fortnight' and this will help the whole school community to become aware of the rights of the child and how we can further advocate for these.
Pupils, teachers, assistants, parents and the wider school community already support us when promoting children's rights. We are confident that parents and the community will continue to support us when becoming a 'Rights Respecting School'.
This page will include information about events, celebrations, 'Right of the Fortnight' and so much more.
Stay tuned for updates!
