On Thursday 7th April there will be a walking bus from Carrickfergus Castle, leaving at 8:30am. We hope you will be able to join us, as this event is promoting our participation to Sustran’s ‘Big Walk and Wheel’ campaign.
What is a walking bus?
A walking bus is a group of children, parents and teachers walking to school as a group at a set time. Children and parents can enjoy walking to school with friends in safety. This is a great opportunity to connect with other parents and encourage your child to be active.
Although staff will be leading the stroll, all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entirety of the walk.
