40 Years of Integrated Education
It has been 40 years since the first Integrated school, Lagan College, opened its doors in Northern Ireland. They paved the way for Integrated Education and now there are over 60 Integrated schools in NI.
In school we wanted to celebrate this momentous occasion with some creative activities 🎉 Each class took part in a range of different tasks to create the number 40. The children used cups, blocks, leaves, shoes, jumpers and even themselves to achieve their goal.
We may have only just joined the wonderful Integrated Education family, which is reason enough to celebrate, but we know the significance of this monumental mile stone and feel it needed to be shouted from the rooftops. We hope you enjoy our efforts.
Check out some of our creations in the pictures below.
