It has been a busy term in P1! We have been learning all about farms. We have learnt all about the different types of farms you might find, including farms with animals and farms with crops. We really enjoyed sharing all of our own experiences from visiting farms and the animals we like on the farm. We also enjoyed seeing all of the animals on Miss McMaw's farm! In our Literacy, we retold a story about a very lazy farm and a very busy duck! We also discovered that farms from the past were very different to farms today. They used horses instead of tractors and you had to milk the cows by hand! All our learning about farms and how to look after animals, has prepared us for looking after our very own caterpillars in the coming month.
