Our Primary 7s have been learning about all things politics! In Literacy, our talking and listening skills were put to the test when we had to prepare a debate on keeping or abolishing school uniforms. We listened to each other’s arguments for and against and took a vote…it was great fun!
Last week we got to visit Parliament Buildings where we got to participate in our own debate in the Assembly chamber. This was an amazing experience! Our teachers were so impressed with our general knowledge when our tour guide, James, asked us lots of questions. Future public speakers in the making!
