Primary 2 have been enjoying their new World Around Us topic ‘Once Upon a Time’. We particularly enjoyed the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff and how the goats tricked the troll living under the bridge.
As part of a STEM lesson, Primary 2 had to work in teams to design a bridge that would not disturb the troll - maybe the troll was grumpy from all the goats ‘trip trapping’ over his home?
Our bridges had to be designed to hold the three billy goats gruff without tumbling, have a place for the troll to live and be as long as 30cm so the goats could cross over the river safely.
